About Me

Kristin Whicker, LMHC
Founder

After personally experiencing how powerful therapy can be, I felt inspired to help others on their own journey toward growth and healing. I have clinical experience working with individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and recovery. I also work with couples who are facing relationship challenges, life transitions, and everyday stressors.

My approach is grounded in empathy and authenticity. I strive to create a space where you can talk openly about what's going on without fear of judgment. While compassion is at the heart of my work, I also believe in being honest and direct when it helps clients move toward meaningful change. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to each person's unique needs, goals, and strengths.

Before becoming a counselor, I earned my MBA and spent nearly a decade in the corporate world. That experience shaped how I think about behavior, motivation, and lasting change. It also gives me a unique understanding of workplace stress, burnout, balancing responsibilities, and the many pressures people face in their daily lives.

I earned my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University- Columbus, where I received training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and developed the clinical foundation that guides my work today. I also earned my MBA from Indiana University- Columbus.

When I'm not in session, you can usually find me spending time with my family, reading a good book, or playing with my dogs.

If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to support you. Reach out today to get started.
